Sweet Trail Mix O’Mine

What You’ll Need

  • Raw, unsalted almonds
  • Raw, unsalted pecans
  • Dried cherries
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Coconut flakes
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Nuts are a great foundation for any trail mix because they are loaded with healthy unsaturated fats and protein, and contain plenty of fiber and essential vitamins. We recommend nuts that are raw and unsalted to keep sugar and sodium at a minimum. To sweeten the deal, dried fruit adds natural sugar and is a great source of antioxidants.  Add a sprinkling of dark chocolate chips for extra antioxidants and enjoy!

Miso Savory

In this savory mixture, almonds and cashews create the foundation for a tantalizing treat your taste buds will love. To spice it up, wasabi peas add the right amount of bite, while sesame seeds and sunflower seeds provide an extra boost of nutrients. Dried ginger rounds out this trail mix recipe.
